Stefan Richmann is Executive Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for BMW of North America, LLC, and BMW (US) Holdings Corp. In these roles, Richmann is responsible for the company’s finance, controlling, information technology, purchasing, human resources and property management functions.
Richmann began his career with BMW Group in 1997 in the Central Controlling Division. He moved to Corporate Strategic Planning in 2000 and was appointed Head of Sales Controlling in 2004. Richmann left Munich in 2008 to assume the role of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for BMW Iberica in Madrid, Spain. He returned to Munich at the end of 2010, where he held several roles, including Vice President of Organizational Development, Vice President of Project Sustainable Profitability, Vice President of Product Management Options, Accessories and Parts, and Vice President of Volume and Price Planning and Sales Steering. He moved to the United States in 2017.
Richmann earned a master’s degree in business administration at the Koblenz School of Corporate Management in Germany, which included studies abroad at HEC Montreal in Canada and Texas A&M University in the United States.
