Tom Shanley is Regional Vice President of the Eastern Region for BMW of North America, LLC. In this role, Shanley is responsible for all sales, marketing, aftersales and dealer development activities in the Eastern Region, which spans 12 states.
Shanley began his automotive career in 1990 with Daimler-Chrysler. In his 16 years with the company, Shanley served in a number of roles, including District Sales Manager, Customer Relations Specialist, Retail Marketing/Distribution Manager, Dealer Placement Manager, Dodge Marketing Manager, Dealer Operations Manager and Dealer Network Manager. In 2006, he transitioned to Volkswagen of America, where he served as Region Marketing Manager and later as General Manager of Sales Operations. In 2011, Shanley returned to Chrysler, where he served as Senior Sales Operations Manager. In 2013, he served as the Business Center Director in the Northeast for FCA, LLC. In 2016, he was appointed Head of Sales, Marketing, Product, Legal and Aftersales for Maserati of North America. Shanley assumed his current role at BMW in June of 2017.
Shanley earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee.
