Granby Fun Rally Results...
HORSING AROUND IN GRANBY ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON On Sunday, September 10, 2006 Granby, CT and the surrounding towns played host to our Fun Rally. A small but fun loving group set off in a quest to find the site where the objects in the many photos provided were located. Additionally, teams were asked to keep track of how many times they crossed a border between MA and CT or visa versa. As Granby is a horse farm community, many of the objects had a horse theme to them. Coincidentally, the town was in the midst of a charity event where many businesses purchased fiberglass horses, had them specially decorated and displayed them in front of their location. There were 43 of these horses scattered around town and many of them made their way into the rally. At the end of the event, there was a tie for first place and the first tie-breaker failed to resolve the tie. The second and third tie-breakers also failed to decide the outcome. The fourth tie-breaker was finally used and the team of Dave and Nancy Scofield emerged as the winners over Steve and Karen Wasley. There was also a rather appropriate prize for dead last, but finished. The results follow:
The top of the dead last but finished trophy carried on with the horse theme of the event.
