1970 Triumph TR6

Location: Killingworth, CT
VIN#: CC54347L
Mileage: 34,000 restoration including rebuilt drivetrain
Condition: Excellent
Exterior color: Jasmine yellow
Interior: Black

Current owner for the last 30 years. Originally a Florida car, always garaged and never driven in winter. All-original body and frame, rolling restoration for the first 20 years I owned it and this car is in what the Hagerty Buyer’s Guide would classify as “Excellent” condition. Major work done as part of the rolling restoration: complete engine rebuild that now has 34,000 miles, overhauled transmission with new bearings, clutch and master cylinder replaced, front and rear suspension bushings are all polyurethane, replaced half-shafts, U-joints, wheel bearings, steering rack, and much more. The body was prepped down to bare metal and repainted in 1994, but as you might be able to see from these pics, the finish is still better than new. I’m obsessive about care and maintenance. Maintenance log available on request. All receipts for the last 30 years. Driven less than 1000 miles each summer for the last 10 years. Runs, handles, and performs as beautifully as it looks. Period correct upgrades include the following [all the original parts these replaced also come with the car: Panasport wheels, Moto-Lita steering wheel, SU 2-inch carbs with K&N filters, TriumphTune valve cover, stainless steel exhaust system, and Koni shocks front and rear (the rear tube conversion was custom installed using original lever damper holes so that no new holes were drilled in body as they are with a Moss conversion kit). Interior was re-upholstered in black cloth over the original seat frames. If you’ve researched TR6s, you know that the earlier model years (1969-70 chrome bumper and no smog plumbing) are more desirable. British Motor Heritage Trust certificate provided.

Price: $24,500

Barn Find

I have a 1983 BMW 320IS up for sale, VIN WBAAG330XD838687...Let’s call it a barn find. I’ve owned it since new and it’s been in my garage for the last 30 years. It is unmolested. It has 56,773 miles on it, which I can attest to. It is black and black cloth and as I stated before, it is an "S" car with the original Recaro seats and A/C delete from the factory. It has a sun roof but not much more. The car is rock solid but far from a 99 point one.

I hate to put it on other sites and would like to see it go to an enthusiast. I am a Life Member of the BMWCCA and my membership # is 164754. It will come with a new set of BBS gold basket weave wheels and some new parts.
