Charles Silva is Regional Vice President of the Western Region for BMW of North America, LLC. In this role, Silva is responsible for all sales, marketing, aftersales and dealer development activities in the Western Region, which spans 13 states.
Silva began his career with BMW Group in 1992 in the Information Technology unit, where he helped launch the BMW Financial Services division in the U.S. In 1995, he was appointed Systems Development Leader, and in 2001, he was named Dealer Systems Manager. In 2008, he assumed the role of Aftersales and Engineering Systems Manager. He was then named Head of Customer Relations in 2011, Head of Customer Experience in 2012, and Head of Sales and Marketing in 2015. He transitioned to his current role in 2016.
Prior to BMW, Silva served as a Systems Analyst for New Jersey Transit from 1988 to 1992.
Silva earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in computer science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He earned a master’s of business administration degree from Rutgers Business School.
