'02 Fest East at Kimball Farm

Sunday, September 9, 2007 - 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (Sept. 16 – rain date)

The Connecticut Valley Chapter is pleased to announce that this year’s ‘02 Fest East will be held in conjunction with the Boston Chapter’s Concours d’Elegance and Show and Shine. The event will be held at Kimball Farm in Westford, MA on Sunday, September 9, 2007.

There is ample space on the grassed parking field that we will be sharing with the Concours participants. Besides the area for the ‘02s, there will also be space for the usual swap meet.

Our change in location to Kimball Farm brings a change in scenery and a great family location with lots to do for children of all ages including the following:

ICE CREAM - Since 1939 and over 40 fantastic flavors. A favorite gathering place for ice cream lovers.

BUMPER BOAT POND - 6000 sq. ft. of bumper boat excitement, with cascading waterfalls and the Forbidden Mine.

MINI GOLF - Come join the fun at a 36 hole adventure style miniature golf course!

9 HOLE PITCH & PUTT GOLF COURSE - Play on full size lighted, professionally maintained greens.

LUNCHEON GRILL - Choose from great food such as Cesar Salad, Chicken Sandwiches, Burgers, Lobster Rolls, Veggie Burgers and more

CAFÉ BAR - The Cafe bar offers coffee, espresso, cappuccino, hot chocolate, bagels, croissants, chowders, soups and a wonderful variety of homemade pastries. The pastry chef bakes from scratch and is always coming up with something intriguingly different, so you will have to stop by and see what's new.

Kimball Farm will be providing a discount promotion for their boats and golfing activities.

The change in location also means that the entry fee for this year’s event has been reduced to $10 per car entering ’02 Fest. There is no charge for people just coming to look. The gates will be opened at 9:00 AM with trophies being handed out about 2:00 PM.

We will have a number of People’s Choice trophies to give out as well as door prizes.
