A driving education program is not only exciting, but also a great skill builder that will make you a much more confident, aware and better driver on the road.

Founded in 1969, the BMW CCA is now the largest single-marque car club in the world with 67 chapters and more than 70,000 members mutually enhancing each other’s BMW ownership experience.

The Connecticut Valley Chapter serves more than 2,200 members in Connecticut and western Massachusetts, as well as CCA members from all over the northeast who have joined our chapter.

BMW Car Club of America Membership Benefits include:

→ Rebates of up to $1500 on a new or CPO vehicle
→ Discounts of up to 25% on BMW parts and service
→ Admission to members only events
→ Monthly Roundel Magazine and periodic Chapter newsletters
→ Shared knowledge with like-minded and passionate folks

A host of BMW-related activities and special events ranging from driving schools and tours to rallies, picnics, dinner parties and tech sessions are provided for our members and guests.

niceHere you will find information on those events and other topics of interest to the BMW-loving community.

Our business meetings are held monthly and are open to all members (call ahead to let us know you’re coming so we get enough food).

Getting a little air...Chapter members receive our bi-monthly publication, Die Zeitung, or DZ, with timely articles about coming events and other information of interest to members.

If you would like more information on CVC activities, e-mail the event organizer or any of our board members.

For a complete listing of all planned CVC events, details as they are developed and links to event-specific pages, visit our Events and Calendar pages.

If you have ideas for an event, contact Adrian Pasternak.

If you would like to attend an event for the first time, contact the event coordinator at the listed phone number or email on the event page.

This guy and his wife were out for a Sunday drive in their 1938 BMW 328 and saw our event sign at the park entrance. Birds of a feather: Glas 1600 Roadster next to its descendent, a BMW 1600 GT. Nobody came back from a Farmobil ride without a smile on their face! A classic CVC photo from way back. Beautiful CS Coupe that joined us from Old Lyme. Wonderful friendships are made at the Humpa. A scene from Humpa 2011. CVC Member Steve Sicklick, Best In Show at Show n Shine 2011 – 1988 M3! CVC Member jerri Wiley got 1st place with this pic at Ofest 09! A scene from drivers school. A club member enjoying a day at Lime Rock Park. Teens learn the ropes in our Street Survival course. Quite a few members find our Karting sessions rather invigorating. Numbers! We like numbers. Depeche Mode - Never Let Me Down Again.

©2006 WMG. Never Let Me Down Again (Remastered Video)

A bit of BMW Isetta fame!
I came across this 1987 Depeche Mode video featuring a ‘56 - ‘62 BMW Isetta 300. You can see the car being used from 1:01-3:00. Beautiful scenery and footage of the features of the Isetta.

– Adrian Pasternak

A documentary on the M635CSi starring race car driver Nelson Piquet. It is a Dutch production, though Nelson speaks English while he is demonstrating what this E24 can do. Exceptional shots showing the features and dynamics of this classic automobile. Filmed during 1984-1985.

John W. Bisset.In Memory Of   John W. Bisset   1937 - 2014

It is with sadness we deliver this message. Yesterday we received word that John Bisset passed away Monday night. John was in the BMW CCA from very early on and was one of the founding fathers of the Connecticut Valley Chapter. John has been on the Chapter’s board for near all of it’s 40+ years, and has held about every position from Member-at-Large all the way to President. At one point, in the lean early years, he and Marsh Wilson even loaned the Chapter money to keep it afloat.

jwbJohn was proud to have been included among those members from the First 5000 who participated in the Oktoberfest Anniversary a few years ago. As we understand, he was also a 55-year member in the SCCA.

As most of you know, John has suffered from Alzheimer’s for several years and it has been a real struggle just to get through day-to-day living. Please keep Barbara, her sons and all their family in your thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Click to contact Barbara or Jonathan, who has now taken over Performance Automotive from his parents.

With warm thoughts for John and the Bisset Family,
BMW CCA - Connecticut Valley Chapter
